It isn’t a bad idea unless you can rent your current place out and cash flow it until the right time to sell. If you waited to sell you would get more for your current home but most likely would also pay more money for the new home. Florida’s existing home, condo sales up in August 2009 ORLANDO, Fla. – Sept. 24, 2009 – Florida’s existing home sales rose in August – marking a full calendar year (12 months) that sales activity increased in the year-to-year comparison, according to the latest housing data released by Florida Realtors®. Existing home sales rose 28 percent last month with a total of 13,850 homes sold statewide compared to 10,813 homes sold in August 2008, according to Florida Realtors.

If there is anything that is constant about global warming, it is the phrase that ‘ global warming events are occurring faster than worst case scenario .’ The reason for this is we are rapidly approaching the final tipping point, or we may have even past it and not yet figured it out. A recent Tampa realty conference gives people in the Florida real estate business some hope for the near future. The market for Florida real estate has been tough (just like it’s been tough almost everywhere else in the nation) but it looks like times are finally starting to change. Realtors in Tampa Florida who attended the event were all cautiously optimistic about what looks to be a good year for realty on our horizon.One of the reasons that speakers and attendees were cautious in their optimism was because they know that they’re not in the clear yet.
